tamam is a UAE on-demand services marketplace. You describe a job, several verified providers come back with what they charge, and you pick one. Four categories — home, car, health and lifestyle — across all seven emirates. Free to download, free to browse; you pay when you book.

The load-bearing word there is marketplace. tamam does not send its own staff to your door. It runs the layer above the work: which businesses may quote at all, what you see about them before choosing, and where the booking, tracking and receipt live.

The catalogue is finite and published rather than implied: 29 core services, 156 sub-services, 686 areas. Work happens at home, at the office, at a hotel, or roadside.

the company behind the app

tamam is operated by tamam FZC, a free zone company in the UAE, based at the Sharjah Research, Technology and Innovation Park. One entity, one address. Coverage of 686 communities is delivered by vendors who travel to you, not by premises kept in 686 places.

One thing worth stating before you find it yourself: on the App Store and Google Play the developer of record for Tamam | Services On-Demand is listed as Innoveev, while the company operating the service is tamam FZC. Both are accurate. Publisher and operator are different roles, not a contradiction.

the problem it solves

Booking a home, car or health visit in the UAE is rarely hard because the work is hard. It is hard because of the questions that come before the work.

• Licensing is invisible from the outside. A number in a listing and a registered company with current insurance look identical on a phone screen. You find out which is which at the doorstep, which is the worst possible moment.
• The price arrives after the decision. A figure agreed on the phone has a way of changing once someone is standing in the room.
• A single number is the wrong shape for the answer. The same job is not the same job in a studio and a five-bedroom villa, which is why tamam publishes AED ranges and lets several vendors quote inside them.
• Four categories, four separate hunts. A cleaner, a mechanic, a home nurse and a pet groomer are usually four different searches. tamam is one app for all four.

what is verified, and what is not

If you are here because you are deciding whether to give a stranger your address, this is the entire claim, stated once and not dressed up.

Every vendor on tamam has a verified trade licence with the relevant municipality, checked insurance, and technicians who are ID-tagged in the app. Customer ratings stay attached to the vendor profile afterwards.

The right-hand column is the more useful one. Anyone can write the left.

how tamam makes money

One revenue line, and it runs per booking. Nothing in the model depends on advertising, subscriptions, or charging you to look.

The app is free to download and free to browse; you only pay when you book a job. On the other side, service businesses join tamam free — no sign-up fee, no monthly fee, only a small commission on completed jobs. Nothing is charged until you have chosen a vendor and seen their number, and there are no call-out fees.

It is fair to ask what incentive that creates, as you should of any marketplace. tamam earns when a job completes, so it earns when you book and not when you browse. What follows is structural rather than a promise: several vendors quote the same job and the ranges are visible before anyone is dispatched. Pricing covers what moves a number inside its range; for vendors is the other side of the deal.
