join tamamas a verified vendor

tamam is a UAE on-demand services super-app. Households and businesses open the app, describe a job, and compare verified vendors on transparent AED ranges. This page is the other side of that screen: who tamam lists, what you have to prove before you are listed, how a job actually reaches you, and how the money works.

who tamam works with

tamam lists licensed service businesses, not individuals working off a phone number. The catalogue is fixed and finite — four categories, 29 core services, 156 sub-services — and every vendor is listed against the specific sub-services they do and the areas they cover.

home services11 services, 69 sub-services. Cleaning companies, AC and duct technicians, plumbers, electricians, painters, pest control firms, handyman crews, movers, gardeners and pool teams. See home services.
car services8 services, 36 sub-services. Mobile mechanics and oil-change vans, wash and detailing crews, tyre and battery outfits, recovery and roadside operators, inspection specialists. See car services.
health services7 services, 35 sub-services. Home nursing, IV therapy, blood and lab collection, physiotherapy, doctor home visits, eye tests. Delivered by DHA or DoH licensed clinicians; labs must be accredited. See health services.
lifestyle services3 services, 16 sub-services. At-home salon teams, pet groomers including mobile units, and laundry, ironing and dry-cleaning businesses that collect and deliver. See lifestyle services.

Work reaches vendors in several contexts depending on the service: at-home, at-office, at-hotel, mobile, roadside, and pickup-and-delivery. A car wash operating out of a van is not disadvantaged for having no premises — mobile is the normal shape of a lot of this work.

Customers can also message tamam on whatsapp for a job or an area that is not listed in-app, and a coordinator arranges it through the same vetted network. If your trade sits adjacent to a listed sub-service rather than exactly inside one, say so when you apply.

what you have to prove before you are listed

Vetting happens before a vendor is listed, not after a complaint: licence, insurance and identity are settled before booking opens, so the customer is not doing the diligence at the doorstep. There are four checks, no hidden fifth one, and no badge you can buy.

Staying listed requires keeping both current. Vendors who let their trade licence or their insurance lapse come off the platform — not as a penalty, but because the claim tamam makes about every vendor has to stay true for every vendor.

After the checks, ratings from previous customers stay attached to your profile. That is the part you build rather than submit — and it is why a new vendor with a clean licence is not competing against anonymous listings.

how a job reaches you

You are not buying leads and you are not answering a switchboard. A customer describes a job in the app or on whatsapp, and vendors whose coverage includes that area respond with an AED range against that written description.

  1. the customer describes the jobThey pick a sub-service — deep cleaning, AC gas refill, flat tyre change — set the address and add access notes such as gate, lift and parking. Those notes save to their profile, so a second booking carries them automatically.
  2. vendors covering that area quoteEvery verified vendor whose coverage includes the area can return a transparent AED range against that job description. You are pricing a written scope, not guessing on a phone call.
  3. the customer compares and choosesThey see several verified vendors side by side with ratings on each profile, and pick the tier that suits — value, mid or premium. Cheapest does not automatically win; availability, rating and area coverage sit on the same screen.
  4. the slot is confirmed in writingScope and range are confirmed before anyone is dispatched. This removes the most expensive failure in field services: turning up to a job that turns out to be a different job.
  5. you attend, ID-taggedThe customer tracks arrival in the app and can message you there. Live tracking and in-app chat replace the where-are-you phone calls, which helps your dispatcher as much as the customer.
  6. payment, receipt, and the rebookThe customer pays in-app and keeps a receipt. Same-vendor rebooking is available on request, so a customer who liked the work comes back in two taps with no re-selling.
The repeat booking is the whole economics of this. The first job is a competitive quote; the fifth job is a customer tapping your name.

how pricing works from your side

Pricing is shown to customers as transparent AED ranges from multiple competing vendors, never one fixed price. The number against your name is a number you set.

what tamam publishes

Guide bands per service, drawn from the catalogue, so customers arrive with a realistic expectation. These are typical-job bands. They are not your rate card and they are not a cap.

what you set

Your actual figure against the actual scope, and the tier you position at — value, mid or premium. Parts and consumables, where they apply, are quoted separately and approved by the customer first.
servicetypical on-site timepublished AED band
Cleaning2–6 hoursAED 35–90 per hour
AC Maintenance1–3 hoursAED 150–700
Plumber1–3 hoursAED 120–600
Pest Control1–2 hoursAED 150–600
Car Wash30–90 minAED 30–120
Car Detailing3–8 hoursAED 300–2500
Nursing1–12 hoursAED 80–200 per hour
Pet Grooming1–3 hoursAED 150–500
Treat these as guide bands. The vendor the customer selects confirms the exact price in-app before the job begins. Full bands for all 29 services are on the pricing page.

Where a job lands inside a band is not arbitrary, and being explicit about it in your quote is what stops a dispute later. The factors:

what being on tamam costs you

Service businesses join tamam free. There is no sign-up fee, no monthly fee and no listing fee. tamam takes a commission on completed jobs, which means the platform earns only when you earn — a quiet month costs you nothing, and an unconverted quote costs you nothing.

This page deliberately does not print a commission percentage or a payout schedule. Those are commercial terms and they belong in an agreement you can read and keep. Ask on whatsapp, get the numbers in writing, and do it before you accept your first booking — not after.

The customer app is free to download and free to browse, and customers pay only when they book. That matters to you for one practical reason: the people looking at your listing have no reason to be there other than wanting the work done.

where the work is

tamam covers 686 named areas and communities across all seven emirates. You are shown to customers in the areas your coverage includes, so a Sharjah crew that does not want to run to Fujairah simply is not offered Fujairah jobs. Coverage is a setting, not an obligation.

The full list is on the areas index and the coverage page. Area character shapes the work: most named areas are primarily residential, the rest are mixed, hospitality, commercial or industrial — which is why a vendor comfortable with tower access procedures and gated-community rules is worth more per job.

If a customer needs a service or an area that is not listed in-app, they can whatsapp tamam and a coordinator arranges it through the same vetted network. Work outside the tidy grid still exists, and it still goes to vendors who cleared the checks.

how to apply

There is no online form to fight with. Applications run through whatsapp on +971 50 601 1938. Have this ready before you message:

  1. Your trade licence and its issuing authority
  2. Your current insurance certificate
  3. The emirates and areas you can realistically cover, not the ones you would like to
  4. Which of the 29 services and 156 sub-services you actually do
  5. How many technicians you run, and their names for in-app ID tagging
  6. For health services: the DHA or DoH licences of the clinicians who will attend
  1. message tamam on whatsappKeep the opening line concrete — "AC servicing and duct cleaning, four technicians, Sharjah and northern Dubai" beats "we do everything".
  2. send the documentsTrade licence and insurance first; nothing proceeds until those clear with the issuing authority. Staff details follow, since every attending technician has to be identifiable in-app.
  3. agree the commercial terms in writingCommission, the sub-services you will be listed under, and the areas you will be shown in. Read it, keep a copy, and ask about anything you would not want to discover on your first invoice.
  4. get listed and quote your first jobOnce the checks clear you appear against the sub-services and areas you cover, and jobs arrive as quote requests with a written scope. You price them; the customer chooses.

Questions vendors ask

What does it cost to join tamam as a vendor?

Joining is free: no sign-up fee, no monthly fee, no listing fee. tamam takes a commission on completed jobs only. The rate is not published on this page — ask on whatsapp and get it in writing before you accept a booking.

Do I need a trade licence to be listed?

Yes. Every vendor on tamam has a trade licence verified with the relevant municipality or authority — DM, ADM, SM or the local equivalent. It is confirmed with the issuer rather than self-declared, and has to stay current to stay listed.

Do I need insurance?

Yes. Insurance is checked and kept on file before you take a single booking, and it has to remain current. Vendors who let insurance or their trade licence lapse come off the platform.

Can I set my own prices?

Yes. tamam shows customers transparent AED ranges from multiple competing vendors, never a single fixed platform rate. You quote your own figure against the written scope and position at the tier you want — value, mid or premium. Parts and consumables are quoted separately and approved first.

How do I get paid?

Customers pay in the app and keep a receipt, so the money is collected on the platform rather than at the door. The payout terms that apply to you sit in your vendor agreement; this page does not publish a schedule, so ask for it in writing when you apply.

Does tamam guarantee me a certain number of jobs?

No, and you should be sceptical of anyone who does. Jobs arrive when a customer in an area you cover asks for a service you do, and that customer then chooses between the verified vendors who quoted. tamam does not publish job volumes and this page will not promise you any.

Which areas can I cover?

Any of the 686 areas across the seven emirates, subject to what you can realistically service. You are shown to customers in the areas your coverage includes. The full list is on the coverage page.

I run a home health business. Is anything different?

The licence and insurance checks are the same, plus the clinicians who attend must be DHA or DoH licensed and lab samples go to accredited labs. See health services for the seven listed health services.

My technicians work from a van, not a shop. Does that matter?

No. A large part of the catalogue is mobile by design — car services come to the customer's parking space, and home and health services are delivered at home, at the office or at a hotel. What matters is the licence, the insurance and identifiable staff, not a shopfront.
