The licence tier matters as much as the licence itself. A registered nurse has passed regulator exams and can legally handle medication administration, wound care, catheters and injections under a doctor's orders. An assistant nurse or licensed caregiver works at a lower tier — personal care, mobility, feeding, basic vitals — at a correspondingly lower rate.
