Abayas are the opposite problem: the base fabric is often easy, but the crystals, beading, embroidery and chiffon panels are not. Glued embellishments can dissolve in standard dry-cleaning solvent, so a specialist will inspect the trim, test an inconspicuous area, and choose between gentle wet cleaning, hand finishing, or steaming without full immersion.
