Every legitimate home nurse in the UAE holds a personal professional licence from the regulator of the emirate where they practise: the Dubai Health Authority (DHA) in Dubai, the Department of Health (DoH) in Abu Dhabi, and the Ministry of Health and Prevention (MOHAP) across Sharjah, Ajman, Umm Al Quwain, Ras Al Khaimah and Fujairah. On top of that, the home healthcare company employing them holds its own facility licence.
