Decide the destination before the truck arrives, not during the drive: the workshop you trust, the agency if the car is under warranty, or home if you want time to compare repair quotes. A tow to your own parking followed by a considered workshop choice is often cheaper than an urgent tow to whichever garage the driver suggests, and drivers do suggest.
