Once the base coat starts oxidising, no amount of polishing brings it back — polishing only works on clearcoat. This is the single most important fact in UAE car care: everything you spend on detailing is essentially a programme to keep that thin transparent layer intact.

Decontamination: clay bars, iron removers and why this stage is not optional
