Dubai tenancies register through Ejari and electricity through DEWA; Abu Dhabi uses Tawtheeq and ADDC, and an ADDC connection generally requires the Tawtheeq to exist first. Abu Dhabi buildings run the same NOC and lift logic as Dubai towers, so budget the paperwork week twice. Without a pump-down, the refrigerant vents and the lines take in moisture, and the unit that cooled perfectly at the old flat blows warm air at the new one, now needing a vacuum, leak test and regas. Book a technician or buy the add-on; it is cheaper than the repair.
