The details that make a difference.
Match the actual job
State why you want the check: routine vision, an updated glasses prescription, a child's screening or a group session for colleagues at the office.
For a driving-licence application, requirements are set by the relevant UAE licensing authority, so confirm the authority accepts the result before booking.
Compare the complete price
Compare what the visit includes, such as the test itself, any prescription issued and the cost of frames or lenses if offered.
Ask who carries out the test and who explains the result. A van brings more equipment than a home visit, but it cannot be assumed to match every examination available in a clinic or hospital.
Send details that make a useful quote
Check there is a safe place for the van to park near your home or building, and bring current glasses or contact lenses and any previous prescription.
Ask how results are shared securely. Sudden vision loss, eye injury, chemical exposure or severe eye pain needs urgent medical care, not a routine booking.
Important health-service note
This page is general service information, not medical advice. A licensed provider must assess suitability, consent and any prescription or referral requirements. If symptoms are severe, sudden or life-threatening, contact the UAE emergency services instead of waiting for a home appointment.
Dubai Health Authority home-healthcare standards are the regulatory reference for licensed home healthcare in Dubai.

A little prep. A smoother visit.
Tick what you have confirmed. This is a personal checklist, not a booking.
Turn the guide into a clear request
Tell Tamam the service, area and scope you need. Review the provider, confirmed price and appointment before agreeing. If the job does not fit a listed package, ask for a quotation through the official WhatsApp route.
