Define gardening work around a temporary use of commercial grounds
A business in Dubai planning temporary use of a courtyard, terrace or planted entrance needs to distinguish gardening work from the activity taking place there. Preparing existing planted areas, moving agreed containers and restoring an agreed arrangement afterward are not the same assignment as running an event. A useful enquiry identifies the landscape tasks the buyer wants assessed and the separate parties responsible for everything else.
The procurement decision is what the gardening provider may change, what must remain protected and what restoration actually means. Do not assume that routine grounds maintenance includes rearrangement for a function or repair afterward. This guide concerns scope and coordination, not plant-treatment instructions, event permission or a claim that any particular outdoor space is suitable for temporary use.
Record the existing arrangement before proposing changes
Identify the actual planted beds, containers, lawn or other landscape elements affected, where present. Use a simple area list and authorised photographs to describe their starting arrangement. Record visible concerns without assigning an unverified cause. This starting record helps distinguish a requested change from a condition already present; it does not certify plant health or establish liability.
Mark the areas that must remain outside the proposed work. A neighbouring planter may belong to another occupier or fall under building management rather than the buyer. Confirm who has authority over each affected asset before requesting relocation or replacement. Share relevant images without unnecessary people, private documents or unrelated business information in the background.
Separate preparation, temporary arrangements and reinstatement
Ask the quotation to describe the work proposed before the temporary activity, any agreed service during it and the work proposed afterward. Identify which items might be moved, who supplies anything added and who is responsible for its later collection. Moving an existing container, supplying a new one and maintaining either are separate scope questions, even if the buyer describes them together as making the area ready.
Define reinstatement through an agreed reference: which arrangement is being restored and which items are included. Do not assume it means replacing every plant, repairing every surface or returning the entire grounds to an unspecified ideal condition. Ask the provider what requires assessment before it can accept the proposed work, and keep unconfirmed tasks visible rather than including them through a broad label.
Assign interfaces with other teams
Identify the contact coordinating any furniture, temporary structures, deliveries or other activities that interact with the grounds. The gardening provider should not have to guess who can change the layout or when an area is available. Clarify the agreed sequence between parties without treating a provisional event timetable as confirmed access for the gardening team.
Keep electrical work, structural questions, irrigation modifications and other specialist decisions with the appropriate responsible parties unless separately assessed and accepted. A request to create space is not permission to alter a shared system. Ask the relevant site contact to resolve dependencies; this page does not prescribe load limits, technical protection methods or safety clearance for a terrace.
Use a hypothetical planter move to expose the return decision
Imagine a business asks for several existing containers to be moved from a courtyard edge before a private function. Another contractor later places equipment where the containers were meant to return. The gardening team cannot complete the original reinstatement simply by arriving at the planned time. The buyer needs an authorised decision about the occupied area and any revised arrangement.
Record the changed condition and ask the relevant parties to agree the next step. Do not let the crew choose an unapproved permanent location, discard a container or modify irrigation to make the schedule appear complete. The example illustrates an interface problem, not a claim about the condition, capacity or permitted use of any real Dubai courtyard.
Confirm the actual property's authority and access
Name the Dubai building, unit or outdoor area and its responsible property contact. Clarify whether the buyer controls the space or needs coordination with another occupier or management team. Permission for the business activity does not automatically define the gardening scope, and a gardening enquiry does not secure permission for the activity. Keep those decisions separate.
Describe when the relevant areas are expected to be clear and who will confirm that they are actually available. Ask how the provider will raise a blocked task or changed instruction. Do not invent universal access rules, approval times or working windows for Dubai properties. The actual site arrangements must come from the responsible parties.
Close out work without turning every observation into a claim
After the accepted work, compare the completed gardening tasks with the agreed scope and starting record. Record items returned, work not completed and observations needing assessment. A photograph of a changed plant is not by itself proof of the cause or responsibility. Keep any concern factual and use the actual parties' agreed process to discuss it.
If further care, replacement or repair is proposed, identify it as a separate decision with its own scope and authority. Do not promise plant survival, recovery within a set period or automatic compensation. Clarify whether the existing routine maintenance arrangement continues unchanged or whether a confirmed variation affects it. Completion of event-related work is not evidence that every recurring task was also performed.
Send a clearly bounded commercial gardening enquiry
Prepare the site, existing arrangement, requested preparation, proposed temporary changes, intended reinstatement reference and responsible contacts. Mark dependencies on other teams and any permission or access still awaiting confirmation. State preferred timing as a request, and include only information you are entitled to share. This lets the provider assess an actual gardening assignment rather than an undefined promise to handle everything outdoors.
Send the project brief to Tamam on WhatsApp +971 50 601 1938. This is a commercial buyer enquiry, not vendor onboarding. Provider suitability, availability, accepted tasks and terms need confirmation. Sending a brief does not secure event permission, reserve a gardening team, include every restoration task or guarantee the condition of the grounds afterward.
